This Life

In this life,

I have felt joy and pain,

Laughter and tears are a part of this life.

 

Most of this life I have struggled,

Struggled to figure out me,

Wanting to find answers,

Answers for the real me.

 

Who am I,

And what do I really believe,

Are questions I often ask.

 

But I guess that’s what this life is all about,

To find the answers,

Answers that last 

 

As I continue this life,

My quest will always be,

To find the beautiful truth,

As I know it to be.

 

And at the end of this life,

When all is said and done,

I will smile,

Smile knowing that this life has been all that it is meant to be!
