Here I Am

 

Here I am,

This is me,

Who I am,

I am learning to know,

Accepting all the parts of this beautiful soul.  

 

Here I am,

Picking up the pieces, 

Moving on from this hellish pain,

I am ready to let go.

 

Here I am,

This is me,

Love me or love me not,

But who I am I will not change.

 

Here I am,

Beautiful and broken,

Healing all the parts of this amazing heart.

 

Here I am,

Ready to soar,

Taking flight on new wings,

I am learning to grow.

 

Here I am,

Learning to love me,

all of me and all that I will ever be.

 

Here I am,

Welcome to my world!

This is me!

I want to learn,

Learn to love and be loved.

 

Here I am,

Wanting what we all want,

Love and acceptance for ourselves and others.

 

Here I am,

Learning to give,

Give myself what I long from others,

Learning and growing as the days pass,

To be more and more of who God created me to be.

 

So look out world,
